IHG Hotels & Resorts launches new midscale hotel conversion brand
IHG Hotels & Resorts just unveiled its new midscale conversion brand, Garner – an IHG Hotel.
The brand will deliver ‘easy going stays that get you on your way,’ the company says.
Garner is designed for value-driven travellers of all ages, offering an affordable price point.
Elie Maalouf, OHG CEO, said: “Garner is another exciting step forward in the transformation of our brand portfolio,”
“It brings to the midscale market a brand we know owners and guests want.”
IHG says it has already received more than 100 expressions of interest in Garner.
Key brand features include IHG Digital Check-in for quick and efficient arrivals and free hot breakfast.
Garner will be ready to franchise initially in the US by early September.
The first hotels are expected to open by the end of 2023.
IHG targets up to 1,000 hotels over the next 20 years in the US alone.
