TripAdvisor has announced the addition of InterContinental Hotels Group to the TripAdvisor Instant Booking marketplace.

With more than 700,000 rooms globally, IHG is the latest major hospitality group to join the likes of Marriott, Hilton, Accor, Best Western and Wyndham on Instant Booking.

IHG family of brands added to the platform include InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Kimpton.

"We’re thrilled to include IHG in our instant booking marketplace as TripAdvisor continues to provide consumers with one of the best hotel shopping experiences on any device," said Robin Ingle, senior vice president of global advertising at TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor users can click the ‘Book Now’ tab in the TripAdvisor interface to confirm a booking and the transaction, aftersales support and customer service is handled by the hotel itself.

Instant Booking is available via TripAdvisor.com or the TripAdvisor mobile app.

Last week TripAdvisor announced it has surpassed 500 million reviews posted online.
