In a flash, Luxury Escapes launches online
The AussieCommerce Group has launched Luxury Escapes in a rebrand of its group buying business Getaway Lounge.
The AussieCommerce Group is behind several flash sales websites such as Cudo, DEALS.com.au, and Ouffer.com and has an exclusive digital media agreement with the Microsoft and Nine Entertainment joint venture, Mi9.
The Luxury Escapes site is a fully licensed travel agency, said managing director of the AussieCommerce Group, Adam Schwab.
"The AussieCommerce group is one of the largest online platforms in Australia with more than two million subscribers; this is an enormous distribution channel with a large subscriber base of holidaymakers for the tourism industry to have access to," Schwab said.
Elina Bishop, head of travel, Luxury Escapes, said: "By being involved with Luxury Escapes operators can have their offers promoted worldwide by a fully licensed travel agent.
"The site will give consumers the opportunity to purchase holidays of the highest quality at a unique price, not available elsewhere."
