IndiGo passenger goes berserk, tries to access cockpit
A passenger onboard an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Delhi on Wednesday, ran from his seat, assaulted fellow passengers and crew members and tried to access the cockpit, saying he would not allow the plane to land.
NDTV News reports that the 40-year old Mumbai-based passenger was blocked from the cockpit with a food tray and subdued but not before slapping a flight attendant. The man was not carrying any weapons. A passenger took video of the incident.
He was arrested in Delhi and faces charges of assault, criminal intimidation and outraging the modesty of a woman.
