Indonesian OTA in talks to sell majority stake
Leading Indonesian OTA Tiket.com is said to be in discussions with venture capital firm GDP Venture about selling a majority stake.
Neither party has confirmed the talks although the Daily Social website cites an unnamed source with knowledge of the matter.
Talks are reportedly centering around the sale of more than 50% of Tiket.com
The OTA has never before raised funding from a venture capital firm.
It offers hotel and flight bookings, train tickets, tours and activities and car rental.
The company was founded in 2011 and in 2015 recorded 100% growth in online bookings.
