1. When did you get started in the Travel industry? 1987
2. What was your first job? My first job in travel was with Deluxe Coachlines and prior to that I was in the Army for nine years
3. First freebie famil? Ayers Rock and Kings Canyon
4. Favourite holiday destination? Ubud in Bali. It is a great place to just relax in perfect surroundings.
5. What would you be doing do if you hadn’t got started in travel? I would still be in the Army.
6. Favourite music? Van Morrison
7. What book did you last read? Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
8. Aisle or window seat? Aisle, that way I can hopefully avoid a head in the middle of the video screen on domestic flights
1. Favourite pastime outside of work? Golf, if only I could play more often.
2. First website you log onto each day? rugby.com.au (waiting for my son’s name to appear)
3. Best moment of your career to date? Joining The Travel Corporation in 1990. It has given me the opportunity to work for three strong brands in the industry over the last 15 years.
4. Biggest problem facing the industry? Managing the massive change that the industry is going through at the moment. I think once we get through this period the industry will be stronger for the experience.
