Instant Cruise Holidays plans expansion
Instant Cruise Holidays claims to have sold £5 million-worth of cruises in its first year of trading.
The specialist cruise arm of Future Travel – part of United Co-op Travel Group – plans to treble the size of its homeworking sales team in 2005.
Instant Cruise Holidays was created a year ago to provide a focus for Future Travel’s cruise business with a team of 15 specialist advisors. Booking enquiries are generated by phone, teletext, Internet, interactive TV and by direct mail.
Operations manager Fay Thompson said: “This first year has been fantastic and exceeded all of our expectations. The cruise market is huge and continues to grow as more and more people discover the benefits of cruising.
“We are expanding our range of holidays and special offers this year, as well as introducing group allocations.”
Ms Thompson added: “We are looking to recruit quality candidates who have specific sales experience of the cruise market so they have the expert knowledge that our clients are looking for.”
Instant Cruise Holidays is the latest brand in the Future Travel homeworking network, which also includes Instant Holidays, Holiday Now, Personal Travel Advisors and Travel Now.
