Intrepid launches 13 new Australian Adventures

Saturday, 12 Sep, 2008 0

After nearly 20 years of offering trips to far off countries around the world, Intrepid Travel will now share its home-grown knowledge of Australia and introduce 13 new adventures in its first Australia and The Pacific 2009 brochure.

The new trips include treks through the Red Centre, turtle rescues in the tropical north, encounters with ancient rock art and plenty of time to get to know the people of the Outback.

Intrepid CEO and co-founder Darrell Wade says, “This brochure marks a special point in time for Intrepid. Australia is where Intrepid began and, while we are spread across many continents and many wonderful countries, this will always be home.”

“It’s hard to believe the diversity of the land in Australia – rainforests, beaches and desert all in one package. And while our Western history is young, this is an ancient land, inhabited for well over 60,000 years.”

To celebrate these incredible new adventures, Intrepid is giving passengers a AUD150 Visa giftcard when they book their Australian adventures before 31 October 2008.  That’s a lot of shrimp to throw on the barbie!
