An investigation is to take place after a private plane narrowly missed crashing into a Flybe flight on the runway at Birmingham International Airport last week.
The Daily Mail reports that a Belgian privately-operated TBM 700 was just inches away from hitting the Flybe plane which was preparing for take-off.
It is believed that the incident occurred after a “mix up” from controllers.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch will now look into the incident and report back in four to six weeks’ time.
