Jamaica appoints tourist board director
Paul Pennicook has been named director of tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board.
It is a return to the post for Pennicook, who previously held the position from 2003-2006, before leaving to become senior vice president of sales and marketing at Air Jamaica.
He has also worked for Jamaica’s key hotel companies, including president and chief executive office of Couples Resorts and executive vice president of Sandals Resorts. He has previously held the post of first vice president of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association.
Most recently he worked as a consultant in the hospitality industry.
He succeeds John Lynch, who has retired.
