Jamaica resort Half Moon sets reopening date
Iconic Jamaica resort Half Moon is aiming for a mid-December restart of business.
The signature Montego Bay luxury resort announced plans to welcome guests again from December 15, 2025, the same date Jamaica’s tourism ministry has set for a full resumption of tourism.
The resort will reopen in phases.
Guests with existing reservations will be a priority.
It will first reopen Eclipse at Half Moon and the Villas at Half Moon.
Right now, Half Moon said it is now focusing on support for its workforce of more than 800 team members.
To support its staff, it launched the Half Moon Spirit Fund, to assist employees in need.
Half Moon management said it will issue regular updates as the recovery progresses and the reopening gets nearer.
