JetBlue adds Vegas, Colombia routes from Fort Lauderdale
JetBlue is adding flights from Fort Lauderdale to Las Vegas and Cartagena, Colombia, starting October 29.
A previously announced Fort Lauderdale-Pittsburgh service also begins the same day.
The Las Vegas flight takes off at 7:30 pm for arrival in Sin City at 10 pm, JetBlue said.
The Cartagena services adds to the airline’s rapidly expanding international network from Fort Lauderdale.
In the past year it has launched flights to Costa Rica, Peru, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica and Dominican Republic.
"We are excited to offer our South Florida customers even more choices by adding two more exciting destinations," said JetBlue president Robin Hayes, adding that the carrier plans to increase to around 100 daily flights from the Florida airport by 2017.
