JetBlue, Porter Airlines launch interline agreement
JetBlue as unveiled a cross-border interline agreement with Canada’s Porter Airlines giving Canadian air travelers access to dozens of additional US and international destinations.
Using Boston Logan as the main connecting point, Porter passengers can book interline tickets to a host of JetBlue destination cities which will be rolled out in phases in October for travel from November 3.
These include Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Charleston, and Philadelphia.
As the largest airline at Boston, JetBlue has about 125 departures a day and Porter serves Boston up to eight times daily from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
"Porter’s connection with JetBlue opens up many new business and exciting leisure destinations from our convenient downtown Toronto location," said Robert Deluce, CEO of Porter Airlines.
"It gives customers throughout the Porter network choice and is also the first time that we will sell interline tickets directly to our passengers."
