Jetset Travelworld Group to Partner with Sabre

Australia’s largest retail travel network, The Jetset Travelworld Group, has announced that it will offer agents a dual preferred Global Distribution System (GDS) status, following the signing of an agreement with Sabre.

The Group will continue to enjoy a strong partnership with Galileo, a division of Cendant Travel Distribution Services, with which it has worked for more than four years.

Chief Operating Officer of the Jetset Travelworld Group, Gai Tyrrell, says Galileo has been genuinely supportive of meeting the strategic needs of JTG in enabling the Group to change its exclusive GDS agreement.

JTG will now also have a preferred agreement with Sabre.

Ms Tyrrell says the addition of such a valued partner will enhance the Group’s ability to provide the best service to its customers, across the network.
