Jordan launches specialist academy
Jordan Tourism Board has launched its Online Specialist Programme that aims to increase the travel trade’s knowledge, capability and sales of Jordan as a destination.
Jordan Specialist accreditation will be awarded to individuals who successfully complete the programme
The programme’s website academy.visitjordan.com has been designed in various modules that takes agents through every step with in-depth information about Jordan and its diverse offerings.
Basic information includes practical details such as flights, things to do, currencies, visas and weather.
There is more specific information on Jordan’s world-class attractions, including Petra, the city carved into the rock face by the Nabataeans; the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth; Wadi Rum, referred to as the Valley of Moon by the Bedouins; modern capital city Amman and Aqaba, the resort town on the Red Sea.
