Juni names preferred suppliers

Juni Network announced its first list of preferred suppliers from the cruise, tour, car and hotel segments of the travel market. The list included 33 suppliers. Cruise lines included the Delta Queen, Celebrity Cruises and the Norwegian Cruise Line. Tour operators included Southwest Airlines Vacations, US Airways Vacations and MGM MIRAGE Vacations. Car rental companies who were selected: Auto Europe, Avis and Budget. The hotel supplier is Sabre Exclusives merchant hotel program, which includes 1600 properties representing 110 brands in 220 cities. “We are also currently in negotiations with other suppliers across the spectrum of travel products that will complement and enhance this inaugural list,“ said Chris Kroeger, general manager of Juni. Juni Network, a leisure travel agency consortium operated by Sabre Travel Network, says it has received over 210 travel agency applications to become charter agency members of the Network. Agents choosing the host agency model will have access to its preferred suppliers, direct marketing programs and market intelligence capabilities, according to the company.
