KLM Pop Up Shop coming to NYC
New Yorkers are being invited to go Dutch at KLM’s first ever Pop Up Shop in downtown Manhattan from Thursday June 25.
KLM’s Open House Gallery is offering people the opportunity to sample KLM’s onboard experience with traditional Dutch waffles and cooking demonstrations.
In addition there will be a KLM Kiddie Korner, DJ sets and interactive art displays through Saturday, June 27.
Visitors can win tickets to Amsterdam through daily raffles and a cycling contest giving away Flying Blue frequent flyer miles.
"The KLM Pop Up Shop will allow guests to experience the inspiration of a KLM journey without ever having to leave Manhattan," said Marnix Fruitema, senior vice president, Air France-KLM North America.
"At this event, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will share the fun, caring values of the brand, and celebrate the many innovative aspects of Dutch culture through interactive experiences."
The Pop Up Shop will also show off the new KLM World Business Class seat bed, and the KLM lounge area will feature locally designed artwork and decor by Dutch designer Hella Jongerius.
