Koh Chang next for Sunsail
KOH CHANG – Sunsail will open a new seasonal base at Koh Chang in the Easter Gulf of Thailand in October this year.
Based in the province of Trat, within easy access from Bangkok and Pattaya, it will be Sunsail’s newest destination in Asia. The base will be seasonal, operating during the best weather months between November and April.
Sunsail’s marketing manager, Kim McKee, says the success of their other Asian locations in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand created the need to increase fleet bases in this area.
“Guests can expect perfect weather conditions and unrivalled scenery for their charters out of Thailand. This really is a product for those seeking to get away from it all,” she said.
Sunsail will offer bareboat yacht charters around the islands of Koh Chang Archipelago, an area known for abundant corals, sandy beaches and waterfalls.
“These charters will particularly appeal to the spirit of adventurous holidaymakers who have already sailed in many of the world’s most popular cruising grounds and are looking for a new territory to explore,” McKee added.
Sunsail is the world’s leading sailing holiday company with more than 1,000 yachts in 25 countries and 36 cruising destinations, including the Whitsundays, Tahiti, the Seychelles, Thailand and Vietnam in the Asia Pacific region.
