Kris Taute appointed to new global communications role at AirAsia
AirAsia’s Australia PR and communications boss Kris Taute is heading for the Kuala Lumpur HQ to take on a new global communications position.
As group manager, communications for editorial, Taute has responsibility for all editorial communications of the group’s airlines and its affiliated brands including AirAsia Big Loyalty, travel360.com and BigPay.
Taute joined AirAsia last year from the New South Wales government which included a stint with the state tourism body.
Taute is replaced by Sarah Quinn who also joins from Destination NSW.
"It’s a particularly exciting time to be a part of the AirAsia family here in Australia as we prepare to launch two new routes, Perth to Lombok and Brisbane to Bangkok, next month," Quinn said.
