Kuoni launches website for Euro 2016 national teams
UEFA and Kuoni have already got the ball rolling for UEFA Euro 2016, launching a new website aimed at qualifying nations scouting the best training facilities and accommodation.
Kuoni is the official UEFA Euro 2016 accommodation agency and on the website highlights a list of 66 potential base camps in France, a range of hotels, training grounds and professional sports facilities.
"Just like UEFA’s passion for football, Kuoni’s passion for travel is unsurpassed," said Peter Meier, chief executive, Kuoni Group.
"Thanks to our local knowledge and longstanding relationships with providers, we have sought out accommodation in quiet, pleasant areas that are easy to secure and offer ideal conditions to help teams play at their best.
"All will meet the needs and expectations of each of UEFA’s 54 member associations."
National football bodies can sign in to a dedicated area to get team specific information and can search for accommodation and training facilities based on star-rating, hotel style or distance from stadia.
Kuoni was also the official accommodation supplier during UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland.
