Lastminute backs fundraising appeal
Customers booking selected holidays on lastminute.com next week will be asked to donate £1 to the NSPCC.
The move comes as the online company backed a bid by the children’s charity to raise £25 million. It will also turn its traditional pink website colour to green in support of the appeal.
Holidaymakers can also made donations online through the site with Lastminute pledging to match the total raised.
Lifestyle director Lopo Champalimaud said it hopes to raise £100,000 during the campaign.
