Launch of APT’s China 2009 brochure

Earlybird savings worth $800 a couple and Victoria Cruises’ newest ships for  Yangtze River packages lead the launch features of APT’s China 2009 brochure. The earlybird deal is for bookings and deposits by January 31.

The program features six escorted tours featuring five-star hotels in central locations and equally stylish riverships. Two packages offer three-night Yangtze cruising and four have four-night itineraries, all on Victoria Anna or Victoria Jenna, the latter entering service next year as the largest and most luxurious ship cruising the Yangtze River.

Other features of the APT product are English-fluent local Chinese guides, cruise cabin upgrades to Shangri La suites with large jacuzzi tub, mix of Chinese and Western meals throughout the tours, all domestic flights are included in the prices as are gratuities for land touring, the best available acrobat show in Shanghai and the Grand Hotel in Beijing with views over The Forbidden City.

Favourites The Forbidden City in Beijing , the Great Wall at Badaling, the Terracotta Warriors at Xi’an , Shanghai and Hong Kong are featured in the touring itineraries. Hangzhou , renowned for the scenery and natural beauty of West Lake has also been added.

The Three Gorges (Xiling, Wu and Qutang) and shore excursions to the great dam site, the hanging coffins of the Lesser Three Gorges and the Shiboaozhai Temple feature in the cruising itineraries.

Lead-in tour is the 17-day Imperial China and Hong Kong package which features the main attractions, cruise and a farewell dinner harbour cruise and shopping in Hong Kong. Prices include all domestic flights in China , cruising, touring, sightseeing, hotels, most meals, excursions and cultural shows.
