Lin-sanity is economic slam dunk for tourism
National Basketball Association’s Taiwanese-American Jeremy Lin’s fairy tale success has caught the eye of tourism promoters in the Big Apple, where fans can toast the new star of the New York Knicks with tickets from Lion Travel and Phoenix Tours, says CNN.
Tourists can toast the red-hot star with $5.75 "Jeremy Lin-Mints" (chocolate-mint-cookie milkshakes ) at Danny Meyer’s Shake Shacks and $7 "Lintinis" at Arctica Bar & Grill on Third Avenue, says USA Today.
As for Knicks tickets, they have climbed at least 20% since he emerged as a star.
