London fails to impress, despite Olympic success
A new survey published by TripAdvisor ranks London poorly for friendliness, safety, cleanliness and value for money.
Despite worldwide praise after it successfully hosted the 2012 Olympics, the UK capital came second to last in the ‘friendliness’ category, only just beating Moscow which came bottom of the list.
In addition, 75,000 TripAdvisor respondents ranked London low for safety (28th), cleanliness (26th) and value for money (35th).
Although it got low marks on this particular survey, London was voted ‘Best City in the World’ by TripAdvisor’s 2012 Travelers Choice Awards.
