London Stansted lays on 50,000 weekly seats to Europe’s ski resorts
Ski season is in full swing at London Stansted with the airport offering up to 50,000 peak time seats a week to Europe’s top ski destinations.
Passengers can fly direct from London Stansted to major winter gateways including Geneva, Chambéry, Grenoble, Turin and Zurich, which unlock access to top ski resorts like Chamonix, Courchevel, Verbier, Serre Chevalier and Sestriere.
The airport also connects skiers and snowboarders to lesser‑known ski spots in countries including Bulgaria, Finland, Romania, Poland and even Morocco. Morocco.
Carrier operating ski flights throughout the winter include Ryanair, Jet2.com, easyJet, British Airways, Swiss and Tui.
“Travellers have plenty of choice, whether it’s a family holiday, a long weekend, or a last-minute trip to the mountains,” said Lauren MacCarron, Travel Trade Manager at London Stansted.
“It’s quick and easy for passengers to reach the slopes from their local airport.”
