Lowcostbeds.com has relocated to new offices and strengthened its management team as it prepares for its second year of business.

The operation has moved from its office in the Sussex countryside – described as a “barn” by the company – into a modern building in East Grinstead.

Chief executive Paul Evans has also drafted in three senior members to the team.

Former TUI and First Choice manager Simon O’Flynn becomes commercial director with responsibility for aviation, operations and marketing activities while Dirk Wiegreffe, also ex-TUI has joined the accommodation team and will oversee North Africa, Middle East and Balkans.

The final appointment sees Aime Gadd, formerly with Going Places and MyTravel, become operations executive.

Evans said: “We have now just what we need to capitalise on the increasing number of retail partners who can see real benefits of dynamic packaging. This year is looking good for us already.”

The company claims to have sold 350,000 bed nights in its first year of operation.
