Lowcostbeds launches programme for single parent families
Lowcostbeds has launched a programme of hotels for single parent families.
It is offering savings of up to 50% for parents travelling with their children alone, during peak season, at hotels across the Mediterranean.
Nearly 100 hotels in mainland Spain, the Canaries, Cyprus and Turkey are available at discounted rates and the accommodation provider is now working to sign up additional hotels to the programme.
Traditionally hotels have only passed on ‘Kids Free’ savings when two adults were in the same room.
Group director of sales Paul Riches said: "Our agents and customers have been asking for this type of product and we’ve been working hard to try to find a solution to bring down the cost of a single parent holiday.
"We agree it’s unfair and are launching a programme of hotels offering savings of up to 50% off hotel prices to help resolve the issue."
The latest prices from lowcostbeds.com for single parent friendly holidays include seven nights in Turkey at a three-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis from £16 per person.
