Lowest fares “guaranteed” by new search engine
A website launched on Friday is claiming to be “the airline traveller’s best chance of finding the lowest fare in the shortest amount of time”. Bosses at Ufly4less.com, a division of UK-based Singdal Ltd, claim that the site “strips away all of the complexity and guarantees bargain-minded travellers will always find the lowest airfare across all of the major UK- and Irish-based budget airlines, regardless of their travel dates”. The website’s search engine allows anyone with a flexible schedule to enter dates up to 120 days in advance. The Windows-based program currently searches the fare database of Ryanair, EasyJet, BMIBaby, Flybe, Jet2, ThomsonFly, MyTravelLte, EUJet, First Choice, Monarch and Are Arann. The software costs £14.95 to licence but there is a free 10-day trial available. Commercial director Pat Gallagher said: “While individual families can expect to save hundreds of pounds or euros by using Efly4less to plan their holidays, businesses and organisations who prefer to have their staff fly on discount airlines, and who have some flexibility in travel dates, can literally save thousands.” Report by Tim Gillett, News From Abroad Ltd
