Lufthansa launches non-stop flight to Silicon Valley
Lufthansa is introducing a non-stop service between Frankfurt and San Jose, California from April 29 next year.
It claims the five-times-weekly service will be the first non-stop flight from Silicon Valley to a European airport.
The service will leave Frankfurt in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, arriving in San Jose in the early afternoon after a 12-hour flight.
The return service from San Jose to Germany will leave in the afternoon, arriving in Frankfurt in the morning.
