Luxury touches at sea include white-gloved butlers
Some of the “poshest digs at sea” including marble tubs with solid gold faucets and the services of white-gloved butlers were unveiled by the Chicago Tribune. They included:
v 1,300-square-foot suites at Crystal that include a personal treadmill and private workout area. Cost: up to $49,320, depending on itinerary and length.
v 5,750-square-foot suites aboard Norwegian Cruise Line that offer private sun beds and steam rooms, as well as butler and concierge service. Starting price: $26,000 for up to six people.
v 9,000-square-foot suites on the Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 have a guest bathroom with a shower. Prices start at $23,000.
v 1,264-square-foot suites on Silversea Cruises include two walk-in closets, two marble baths with separate showers, a powder room and a full-size Jacuzzi.
