Made to Measure Holidays sold to W&O
Luxury travel group Western & Oriental has acquired specialist tour operator Made to Measure Holidays for £420,573.
Founded 30 years ago, Made for Measure runs tailor-made ski and summer lakes and mountains holidays in Europe and Canada.
The deal for the profitable operator brings to six the number of travel businesses bought by W&O since floating on AIM in March.
Chairman David Howell said: “We are pleased to add Made to Measure Holidays to Western & Oriental’s portfolio of luxury travel businesses.
“This is our sixth acquisition since the group floated in March.
“As well as adding a complementary European ski product to our Ski the American Dream business, Made to Measure brings with it a new summer Lakes and Mountains business that, together with the ski product, will allow us to create additional organic growth opportunities through cross selling to the enlarged group’s customer base.”
