Sunday, 21 Sep, 2025 0

Malaysia Airlines has inked a new codeshare partnership with Qantas to boost travel options between Australia and Malaysia, and throughout Asia Pacific.

Both airlines are oneworld members.

Malaysia Airlines will offer its customers connecting travel to 18 domestic routes operated by Qantas in Australia, including Canberra, Darwin and Hobart.

The Qantas QF code will be placed on Malaysia Airlines flights to Australia – Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

Additionally, Qantas customers can book onward connecting flights to Malaysian destinations like Langkawi, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, as well as Singapore.

“Australia has long been a core part of our network. The deployment of the A330neo and increase in flight frequencies reflect our commitment to meeting growing demand,” said Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group.
