Malaysia Airlines student loyalty programme partners with Expedia and Grab
Malaysia Airlines has teamed up with Expedia and ride hailing giant Grab to bolster the benefits in its MHexplorer student programme.
Members of the programme will now be able to enjoy up to 10% discount on hotel stays through the Expedia tie-up and 8% off Grab rides to selected airports in Malaysia.
These include Kuala Lumpur International, Senai, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
The MHexplorer programme is available to 18-26 year olds.
It currently numbers 50,000 members and the airline believes the addition of the new partners will see a four-fold increase in sign-ups.
Telecom provider Maxis has also partnered with MHexplorer offering 20% off monthly plans.
Eligible students can sign up as a member via the Malaysia Airlines website.
