Manchester gets Morocco route
Royal Air Maroc will launch a new route between Manchester and Casablanca next month.
From Tuesday 28 March, the Moroccan flag-carrier will begin operating direct non-stop flights three times per week to Mohammed V International Airport.
Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Royal Air Maroc also currently flies to Casablanca from London Gatwick and London Heathrow.
The new service will use Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with both business and economy class seating available.
The scheduled flight time is around 3hrs 20mins.
The new Manchester service opens the door for connections to 33 African destinations, including Lagos, Accra, Nairobi and Banjul.
There is also an opportunity for flight connections to Brazil, plus daily connecting flights to Marrakech and Agadir.
