Margaritaville adding third cruise ship in 2026
Margaritaville at Sea is getting a third ship.
The cruise line confirmed it is the buyer for Costa Fortuna, which will leave the Costa Cruises fleet in late 2026.
It comes as Margaritaville at Sea celebrates its third anniversary this month.
It currently operates cruises on the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and the Margaritaville at Sea Islander from Tampa Bay and Palm Beach, Florida.
Costa Fortuna is set to be the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet with a passenger capacity of up to 3,450.
“Margaritaville at Sea has been on an exceptional trajectory in only a few short years. We’re thrilled to once again expand the experience of our brand and share the cruise line’s signature experiences with more guests,” said John Cohlan, CEO of parent Margaritaville.
The cruise line is adding longer cruises of up to 10 nights starting in January 2026.
The ship will keep sailing scheduled cruises for Costa Cruises until the fall of 2026.
