Mark Warner rebrands for summer ‘08
Mark Warner – the resort operator used by the McCanns when their daughter Madeleine went missing in Portugal – has rebranded for 2008.
The operator’s Beach Resorts re-designed brochure has a new brand identity with holidays designed to give holidaymakers more flexibility.
The company has shifted away from full-board to half-board and in troduced more flexible childcare under what is described as a ‘feel free’ concept.
Marketing director Andy Furlong said: “Feel Free is an exciting new development for Mark Warner. We believe our brand history and in-resort experience leaves us uniquely positioned to deliver the proposition within our sector. Vitally, it gives customers in our target market a compelling reason to choose Mark Warner.”
Managing director David Hopkins said: “All the changes we are making are designed to put the customer in control of how they choose to enjoy their time with us.
“Taking lunch out of the standard package frees up the day to plan as you wish. With childcare we’re splitting the day in two halves for the under 5’s so parents can choose to book either a half day or a full day as they wish.”
The operator is offering 11 resorts for next summer with the Chatelhotel Rosanna in St Anton introduced with a free children’s adventure programme available.
Prices start at £595 for one week in Greece in May, including childcare for over-2’s.
