Marriott debuts Delta brand in Asia
Marriott International ushered in the New Year with a new brand in Asia.
The latest Marriott brand to mark its Asia debut is Delta Hotels.
It welcomed the 339-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Shanghai Baoshan in China with a grand opening.
It features several dining outlets including an American style all-day dining venue and Chinese eatery along with a pillarless Grand Ballroom for large events and functions.
"We are very excited to introduce the first Delta Hotels by Marriott to the Asia Pacific region," said Marriott’s vice president of brand & marketing for Asia-Pacific, Mike Fulkerson.
"The hotel delivers key essentials in a manner that makes travel seamless and always enjoyable for our guests."
Delta is currently one of Marriott’s fasting growing brands and it plans to have 66 hotels open before the end of 2018.
Canada based Delta joined the Marriott International portfolio after its in acquisition two years ago.
