Marriott opens another Courtyard in Bali
Marriott International has opened the 290-room Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak – the 31st Courtyard hotel in Asia.
Robert Stark, Marriott International’s market VP for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia said: "Our growth in Indonesia is of great importance to Marriott International, and we look forward to expanding the presence of the Courtyard brand."
Located close to Seminyak Beach and the Oberoi dining scene, rooms and suites have their own private balcony or garden terrace, a 42" smart TV, working desk and iPod dock.
Suites have their own living room and dining area, along with connecting doors to another deluxe room for families.
There is a Kids Club, a 24-hour fitness centre, Zanti – The Retreat, and meeting and breakout spaces catering up to 350 people.
A valet service shuttles to and from the resort to the beach and Oberoi Eat Street. High-speed Internet access is available throughout the hotel.
Brad Edman has been appointed as general manager of the new property.
Prior to his role at Courtyard, he was the area director of sales and marketing for South East Asia Marriott International, responsible for all Marriott hotels in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines.
