Marriott to debut Autograph Collection in Cambodia
Marriott International has signed a deal to introduce its first Autograph Collection hotel in Cambodia.
It signed The KHOM Hotel in Phnom Penh, which is a new build slated to open in 2022.
It will have 130 guest rooms and is located just a stroll from top city attractions including the Royal Palace and Independence Monument.
The hotel will offer several dining options including a themed specialty restaurant, a Sky Lounge and Bar, a spa, fitness centre, outdoor pool and meeting space.
"Cambodia has seen an increase in both international tourist arrivals and investment in the hospitality sector. We saw a potential market here in Cambodia which is why we partnered with Wywaza Investment on the introduction of The Khom Hotel, the first Autograph Collection brand in this market," said Paul Foskey, Marriott’s chief development officer, Asia Pacific.
The Autograph Collection features independent upper-upscale to luxury hotels and now numbers 170 hotels around the world.
Cambodia welcomed 3.3 million arrivals in the first half of this year, which is a hike of more than 11% on 2018.
