Martha Stewart to name Crown Princess
US ‘domestic diva’ Martha Stewart is to be godmother to Princess Cruises’ new ship Crown Princess.
Stewart, who served five months in jail for lying about a stock sale, will conduct the naming in New York City on June 14.
The ceremony will be the first to take place at the city’s Brooklyn Cruise Terminal before the 3,100-passenger ship sets off on its maiden voyage to the Caribbean.
The ship will reposition to San Juan in the autumn for winter Caribbean sailings, with direct flight connections from the UK.
