Meetings Mean Business coalition goes mobile
Meetings Mean Business, the industry wide coalition promoting the value of meetings, conferences, and trade shows, has launched its first mobile app.
Available on iOS and Android platforms, the MMB app features the latest industry news, on the go access to industry research reports, infographics and video content, a campaign toolkit and direct contact with other members.
The app will also serve as an engagement tool for professionals of face-to-face meeting and events to learn more about the campaign and promote its message within their segment of the industry.
"It’s critically important that our industry continues to speak with one voice to communicate the value and benefits of meetings to communities, businesses and the economy," according to David Peckinpaugh, Co-Chair of Meetings Mean Business.
The Meetings Mean Business alliance was formed in 2009 to promote the benefits that meetings, trade shows, conferences and travel bring to the US economy.
Member organizations come from all segments in the MICE industry and include the Convention Industry Council, Cruise Lines International Association, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Hilton Worldwide, and the US Travel Association.
