Mobil five-stars award winners announced

32 Hotels and 14 Restaurants won the five-star designation and 119 Hotels and 140 restaurants won the four star award.

Mobil Travel Guide, developer of the authoritative Mobil star rating program for lodgings, spas and restaurants, today yesterday the 2006 recipients of the Mobil Four- and Five-Star Awards in the lodging and restaurant categories.

Thirty-two (32) lodgings and fifteen (15) restaurants have been awarded the coveted Mobil Five-Star rating. In addition, 119 lodgings and 140 restaurants across the U.S. and Canada have received the highly regarded Mobil Four-Star rating.

In the lodging category, the Four Seasons Hotel, Washington, D.C. joined the 2005Mobil Five-Star list:

On the restaurant side, Mobil Travel Guide added three new properties to the Five-Star list: per se in New York, New York; White Barn Inn Restaurant in Kennebunkport, Maine; and Bastide in Los Angeles, California.
