Momondo and Direct Ferries team up

Global travel metasearch site momondo, has partnered with Direct Ferries.

Direct Ferries’ proprietary white label booking engine, Ferries Connect, will enable momondo’s users to compare prices, routes and times on ferries in addition to flights, hotels and car rental deals.

Through this partnership, momondo becomes the first meta search engine in the Nordics to provide travellers access to 3,000 worldwide ferry routes.

The partnership will initially launch in Denmark and Sweden, enabling users to compare and book a ferry crossings in Scandinavia, as well as search, compare and book ferry crossings in other parts of Europe and the rest of the world.

Niall Walsh, Chief Operating Officer at Direct Ferries said: “We are continuing to see a growing demand for ferry travel. Our new partnership with momondo means that even more customers globally will be able to enjoy the benefits of fully connected ferry travel.”
