Monaco to host the world’s yachting elite

The world’s yachting elite will be gathering around Monaco’s Port Hercules from September 19-22 for the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show.

Five hundred selected exhibitors will showcase the most unique and luxurious yachts in the world today, 40 of which are being exhibited for the first time

The Yacht Club de Monaco unites many of the world’s most prestigious yachts under its burgee, including a quarter of those featured in the 100 biggest private yacht list

Among international visitors from 38 countries will be key builders, designers, suppliers and providers.

The Monaco Yacht Club will also be showing off its Norman Foster designed new clubhouse building, which is close to completion.

The Monaco Yacht Show supports the Association Mon-~©gasque contre les Myopathies (AMM), a rare genetic illness that affects boys.

The Prince Albert II Foundation is also pledging support for Wood Forever, a programme dedicated to fighting world deforestation.
