Monarch sees traffic growth
The number of passengers flying with Monarch grew by more than 11% last month compared with July 2012, but the rise was not as great as the airline’s increase in capacity.
Monarch carried a total of 912,366 in the month but its capacity increased by 14%, leading to a fall in its load factor by 2.3 percentage points.
Overall, the airline sold 88.64% of its seats in July, compared with 90.94% in the same month last year.
