Mott moves to Opodo
Opodo has appointed an easyJet executive as its new UK country manager.
EasyJet’s UK marketing manager, Neil Mott takes the place of Richard Hadfield to oversee the UK sales and marketing strategy for the airline-owned website.
Mr Hadfield is leaving Opodo following the decision by the company to move from offices in central London to Hammersmith in west London. He says the commute is too far.
Mr Mott has worked in the industry for over twelve years. He previously held roles at Go, the no-frills carrier bought by easyJet, and American Airlines.
Opodo chief executive David Scowsill said of the appointment: “Neil brings a wealth of commercial and travel experience to Opodo and we are delighted to welcome him onboard.”
