Mystery surrounds deaths of Bali hotel guests

Police are investigating the the death of two Chinese guests at a luxury Bali hotel.

Hours after checking in, the couple were found dead. covered in blood.

A murder investigation is underway and murder-suicide has not been ruled out.

They were both found naked with neck and other wounds.

The 22-year old man was reportedly found on the balcony while some reports said he was discovered outside the room in the corridor.

The 25-year old woman was in the bathroom.

The couple were staying at the InterContinental hotel in Jimbaran, South Bali.

“We are all shocked that this has happened in Bali,” a Bali based Chinese tour guide told state media.

Days earlier, a Chinese tourist died just a few miles away after being swept away in strong currents at Melasti Beach.
