After reopening Everest climbs and tourist attractions in the quake hit country, Nepal is aiming for a tourism revival with a new logo and slogan.
The new logo highlights the national flag, Nepalese temples, monuments and mountains along with a slogan – ‘Nepal: Back on Top of the World’.
"Despite the reduction in number of tourists, we are committed to revive the tourism industry and are confident that the new logo and slogan will again take Nepal to the top of the world," said tourism minister Kripasur Sherpa.
The devastating April quake struck the Himalayan nation killing nearly 9,000 and leaving the tourism industry in tatters just ahead of the peak trekking season.
