New ABTA website to help sell UK
ABTA has developed a website to help travel agents sell domestic holidays.
BookBritain.net has been set up by the association’s UK tourism and leisure group.
The website aims to link agents to UK information and e-learning tools as well as to operators offering commissionable UK holidays, according to ABTA
Tour operators with UK product are invited to provide links to their sites from the new ABTA website for a “small adminstrative fee” to cover costs.
Tourism and lesiure group chairman Yvonne Borg (Hoseasons) said: “Brits are in the process of falling back in love with their own country and we are delighted that we can help ABTA members tap into this renewed enthusiasm.”
The site is at www.bookbritain.net
