New Abu Dhabi country manager for Australia
Passport Marketing, a division of Hill & Knowlton, has appointed Vera Huntink as country manager Australia for Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA).
Based in Sydney, she will be responsible for overall management of the ADTA office in Australia, overseeing and leading all sales, marketing, and communications initiatives.
In her most recent role as marketing manager at GTI Tourism, Huntink represented tourism boards that include Papua New Guinea Tourism and PromPeru.
She has also held posts at Trafalgar Tours in Australia, the Netherlands Board of Tourism in the UK, and Golden Tulip Hotels in the Netherlands.
In anothe rindustry move, AirAsia X has appointed Stuart Myerscough to the position of marketing manager Australia, based in Brisbane.
Myerscough spent three years at Virgin Blue managing sponsorships and customer insights across the group of airlines.
